Jessica is an artist, writer, and landscape architect in Carmel, California. Her creative work is driven by the simple mission to expand our sense of kinship with all life. In her decade of professional practice, she has authored numerous sustainability master plans and collaborated with many innovative architects and international clients through her work at Rana Creek and The Johnson Hill Land Ethics Studio. Her new firm, Jessica Mary Land Arts, does traditional landscape design and aspires to create meaningful environmental art and memorial landscapes. Both her site work and her clothing line, Anima California, embody Jessica’s passion for pattern design, and photography remains core to her creative process. As a writer, Jessica enjoys sharing essays and blogging about means to rebuild joyful bridges between nature and culture.
